Employment/Military Record: Dan Centers has dedicated his career to serving his community and the institutions that granted him success. After graduating from Madonna University, Dan worked as an elementary school teacher, and as an executive with Boy Scouts of America. He currently works as a development officer, working to make higher education more accessible and affordable for students.
Community Activities: Dan Centers is actively involved with the Livonia Jaycees, West Oaks Civitan, several Livonia PTA groups, Boy Scouts of America, and formerly the Livonia Art Commission. For his work in the community, Dan was named Outstanding Young Michigander by the Michigan Jaycee Foundation in 2014.
Religion: Roman Catholic

Governmental Leadership (Elected or Appointed)

Other Offices: Dan Centers has twice been elected by his neighbors to serve on the Livonia School Board. During his tenure, he led bond renovations that revitalized district buildings, helped balance the budget, and created new student focused programs. As a school board member, Dan earned his Certified Board Member status and was recognized with the Award of Merit from the Michigan Association of School Boards in 2017.
