Employment/Military Record: I worked in my dad's restaurant starting at the age of 13. After graduating high school, I opened my own restaurant at 19 that I have operated for over 50 years. I have been a member of the Michigan Volunteer Defense Force for over 15 years.
Community Activities: Metro Health Foundation board member for over 10 years, Former Wyoming Kentwood Chamber of Commerce chairperson and board member, Former Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce Tax Committee member, Former Chairman of the Grand Rapids Community College Culinary Advisory Committee, Former Michigan Restaurant board member, Former Godwin High School Advisory chairperson.
