Employment/Military Record: Chief of staff to Democratic State Representatives Mary Schroer (D-Ann Arbor) and Hubert Price (D-Pontiac) from 1993-1999, Executive Director of MARAL Pro-Choice Michigan from 1999-2006.
Community Activities: Rebekah currently serves on the board of the Jean Ledwith King Women's Center of Southeastern Michigan and Chairs the board of the Equality Michigan Action Network. Some of her previous community involvement has included chairing the Community Development Executive Committee for the city of Ann Arbor and serving as a board member for SOS Community Services, a non-profit in Ypsilanti that works to provide critical housing crisis services.

Political Activities: She is currently state lead for the National Conference of Environmental Legislators; the state director of the Women Legislators' Lobby (WiLL/WAND); and a member of Women in Government; the National Conference of State Legislatures, the Council of State Governments Midwestern Legislative Conferences (MLC) and its Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee and Health and Human Services Committee. In addition, she sits on the Executive Committee of the Michigan Democratic Party and is actively involved in the 12 th Congressional District Democratic Organization, the Washtenaw County Democratic Party, and the Ann Arbor City Democratic Party. In the Legislature, she Co-Chairs the Cancer Caucus and the Biotechnology Caucus and is a member of the Progressive Women's Caucus; the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard-of-Hearing Caucus; and the Asian Pacific American Caucus. She represents Michigan on the international Great Lakes Commission.
